Virtual studio: a 3D set, not a location
A studio that does not exist: the set built in Blender, the footage shot on greenscreen, the two put together. Vertical, for TikTok and Reels.

Starting point
Hypeneedz sold limited sneakers and clothing through its own online shop. The goods came from partners, the content was made in house. A studio was available, and the shoot still happened on greenscreen.
The reason was not a missing location. It was what a built background can do and a real one cannot: it can be animated, and it can be rebuilt for the season without anyone clearing a room, moving shelves and relighting it.
Approach
The set is a built scene. A dark room, wooden acoustic panels on the wall, floating shelves with lit shoeboxes, the lettering above as an illuminated sign. Rendered vertical at 1080 by 1920, with a deliberately empty middle where the person stands later.
The lighting on set is matched to the rendered scene, and that is where shots like this usually fall apart. A large soft light sits at the front at 5600 Kelvin, daylight. Behind the person stands a very warm lamp. That lamp is not an effect, it is the counterpart of a light that actually exists inside the 3D scene: the same light source, once real and once computed. That is why the keyed person does not look pasted on but touched by the light you can see behind them.
The rest is as simple as it looks: a wooden board on the rig as a table, with the podcast microphones on it. Shot against greenscreen, keyed, placed into the scene.
Because the background is computed rather than filmed, it is there again unchanged the next time: same light, same boxes on the same shelf, no setup. The cut kept here runs 44 seconds, with the yellow captions that stay readable on a phone with the sound off.
Result
The set became a set, not a single video. The series made in it reached several hundred thousand views on TikTok. The effort happened once; every further piece cost only the shoot.
