Web design for restaurants · Munich
The website is only the start.
I build websites for restaurants and bars in Munich: menu, locations, opening hours, ordering. And everything that comes after, once the place is running. Screens in the room, packaging, photos, an app of your own. From one hand, because the same person designed and built it.
What it turned into
At Shawarmery, a kebab franchise in Munich, it started with photos and a menu. Today a whole system runs there.
- Packaging and window filmsBoxes redesigned, print files delivered, films applied in two locations.
- Seven screens, two shopsAnimated menus on Samsung displays, a computer in the shop instead of a USB stick, order and ads from a dashboard.
- Customer app with pointsAn app for regulars, connected to the till.
- Time tracking with NFCA reader I built myself on the wall, tap the card, done. For around nineteen people.
Plus Milch und Bar, H’ugo’s, Banco de Café, Rabenwirt and Eierwiese.
All the work for Shawarmery on one page Get your website checked, free Digital menu boards for the roomIn practice
This is what it looks like at Shawarmery.
One menu for two shops from the same database as the app, found on Google, counted without cookies. Live since October 2026.
See the whole projectWhat the menu costs the database.
Before, every guest fetched the menu piece by piece from the database: about a hundred reads per visit. Now the server rebuilds the menu at most every ten minutes, and everyone gets the same finished page.

What a restaurant website has to do
A menu that is right
Dishes, prices, allergens, weekly offers. Editable in two minutes from your phone, without calling me.
Being found
Locations, hours, directions and reviews prepared so Google understands them and shows them on the map.
Ordering and booking
Delivery platforms, table booking or your own ordering. Whatever fits you, not whatever is in fashion.
Pictures that make people hungry
One photo day fills website, menu, films and social for months. I shoot it myself.
Fast on a phone
Most people look on the go, shortly before they come. One second of loading decides it.
Room to grow
Screens in the shop, an app, time tracking, a franchise section. The website is the start, not the end.
How it runs
- 01A talk in the shopI come by, watch how it runs and eat something. After that I know what the site has to do.
- 02An offer in sectionsA fixed price per section, so you decide what happens now and what comes later.
- 03Building and shootingUsually a photo day, then design, then build. You see every step in your own area.
- 04Launch and handoverI put it live, show you the upkeep and stay reachable. I can also run it for you.
What it costs
Prices net, as a starting point. What you really need is in the offer.
- Website “Brand”from 3,900 €
- Photos half day790 €
- Board animatedfrom 2,400 €
- Upkeep with animation89 € a month
What restaurant owners ask
Can we change the menu ourselves?
Yes. Prices, dishes and offers you maintain yourself, from your phone, without any training. If you would rather not, I do it and bill by the hour.
How long does a restaurant website take?
From the go-ahead to launch usually four to eight weeks, photo day included. Faster if texts and menu already exist and approvals come within a week.
Do you work outside Munich?
Yes. Nearby I come by, for the rest a video call usually does. Photo shoots happen on site, everything else works remotely.
Do we have to buy photos elsewhere?
No, I shoot them myself. That is why the pictures look the same on the website, the menu, the window and Instagram.
What does running it cost per month?
Running it, meaning hosting, backups, updates and monitoring, costs 39, 79 or 190 € net a month depending on the package. Upkeep I bill by the hour, or we agree a flat rate.
See all pricesWe have several locations. Does that work?
Yes. Locations get their own pages with their own hours and menu, and Google reads them as separate places. At Shawarmery that runs for two shops.
